We compare measured airflow to what each room needs based on its calculated heat load. Then we adjust balancing dampers in the duct branches, modify register openings, and in some cases recommend duct modifications to increase flow to underserved rooms. The goal is proportional airflow — larger rooms and rooms with more heat gain (south-facing windows, upper floors) get more air.
